Free trial
New accounts start with a 15-day free trial. To begin, you choose a plan ($8.99 per month or $79 per year) and add a payment method, but you are not charged during the trial. If you do not want to be billed, cancel before the 15-day trial ends and no charge is made. At the end of the trial your plan begins and your payment method is charged.
Canceling your subscription
You can cancel at any time, two ways:
- In the app: open the account menu (your initial, top right) and choose Manage subscription. This opens our payment provider's secure portal, where you select Cancel plan.
- By email: write to payments@joininseason.com from the email on your account and we will cancel it for you.
If you cancel during the 15-day trial, you are not charged. If you cancel after the trial, your subscription stays active through the end of the billing period you already paid for, and it does not renew after that. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused portion of a billing period, except as described below.
Refunds
- Accidental or duplicate charges: if you were charged in error, email us and we will refund the incorrect charge.
- Recent renewal: if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend, email payments@joininseason.com within 7 days of that charge and we will refund it. When we issue that refund, your paid access for the period ends.
- Annual plans: if you are on an annual plan, the 7-day window above also applies to each annual renewal.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are issued through Stripe to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer typically posts the refund within 5 to 10 business days.
